The Leather Luster Kit includes the following:
- 1 - 4 oz. can of Leather Luster (applicator in the can)
- 1 - 4 oz. can of Leather Pre-Cleaner
- 1 - Steel Wool Pad
Directions to use the
Leather Luster Kit you must be in a well-ventilated area. Remove all waxes, oils, and dyes from the leather by scrubbing with the Pre-Cleaner with a rough terry cloth rag. This must be done until no more color appears on the rag. Allow to dry for 10 minutes. Apply a thin coat of Leather Luster and allow to dry for 4 - 6 hours. The first coat will not have a shine. If possible, dry in direct sunlight as this will help with drying. The leather must be completely dry with no tackiness. Apply a second coat of Leather Luster and let it dry completely. Once you have two good coasts, use the Steel Wool Pad to buff the leather to a smooth even surface. Some leathers make take 3 coats before buffing. After you have used the Steel Wool Pad, clean the leather from all steel wool particles. Apply another coat of Leather Luster. This is the final coat so take your time. Remove any bubbles by blowing lightly on them.
